Step into a festive journey through time and experience the wonder of Christmas from the Georgian era all the way to the fabulous 1950s. From twinkling decorations to delicious seasonal treats, nostalgic music and hands - on activities, there's something for everyone as we count down to the big day - the traditional way! Explore the 1900s Town and see how families lived and worked in the years leading up to the First World War. See what’s cooking in the pit cottages, practise your handwriting in the school and visit the chapel. Don’t forget to say hello to the pit ponies in their stables! Be sure to jump on Beamish Tramway and head back to the 1900s Pit Village for fish & chips! There’s just so much to see and do at Beamish Museum. Return transport included.
