DescriptionSunday 15th February Meeting point: The students' union entrance Meeting time: 09:30 Beamish is a world-famous open-air museum, telling the story of life in North East England during the 1820s, 1900s, 1940s and 1950s. Explore the 1900s Town and see how families lived and worked in the years leading up to the First World War. See what’s cooking in the pit cottages, practise your handwriting in the school and visit the chapel. Don’t forget to say hello to the pit ponies in their stables! Be sure to jump on Beamish Tramway and head back to the 1900s Pit Village for fish & chips! There’s just so much to see and do at Beamish Museum. Return transport included.
