DescriptionThe Coronal Loop Workshop will be held from Monday 8th to Thursday 11th June 2026 at Northumbria University, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK. The Coronal Loops Workshops are a series of highly focused biennial meetings, organised since 2002. They deal with the observation and modelling of magnetically confined solar plasma. The general objective is to understand the physical processes that create and heat the magnetically closed corona (i.e. not flares, and jets). The Coronal Loop Workshop XII's overarching theme is “Magnetic Field Reconfiguration and Energy Partition”. For more information, please visit the conference website.
